BE: GRUMPY

I woke up grumpy. I am NOT a fan of getting up on other people's terms. It's a control thing, or perhaps a Taurus thing. My Monday, one of my favourite days, has been strange.

I rushed to do my Facebook Live event on mindful eating, ha. Then I attempted to do some laundry but decided my time was better spent on other work. Then my email and phone began firing off in every direction. AND, Summer decided to start today, which means sunshine blasting through our condo heating the place up.

I have mild head pressure, and my ears and throat are not feeling 100 per cent. I decided to rush out to the nearest cafe to work.

That's when I bumped into a friend I haven't seen in a while. We caught each other up, shared some work, and then, THEN...some emotions were revealed. I won't get into that. Loads of lessons learned today about my role in this life.

This journal entry does not have a huge purpose today except to say:

When you are experiencing a heavy emotion that may or may not be frowned upon, don’t fret, ride it out and see where it takes you.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. Be mindful of healthy boundaries. Be confident in who you are.

I am the lone wolf. My tribe is small, but my reach is vast. I aim to inspire and am fueled by a few close souls that I call my family.
